Here are my travel tips for the Caribbean best beaches. My wife, Kathy and I love the Caribbean and enjoy spending most of our time at the beaches.
We have decided to list our favorites beaches that you might want to visit if you love the sand and sea like we do. There is nothing better than getting lost in the soul-warming sun, sea breezes and crystal clear waters. Seven Mile BeachSeven Mile Beach is located in Negril, Jamaica on the north western section of the island. The beach stretches for 6 3/4 miles along the sea. This is a famous area for the all-inclusive resorts such as Sandals, Couples, Beaches and Hedonism II are located. Nudity is allowed on certain sections of the beach.Palm BeachPalm Beach is located in Aruba and has superb white-sand that put this country on the map. Conde'Nast Traveler ranks this beach as the 12th best in the world.Shoal BayShoal Bay is located at Anguilla and is famous for snorkelers because of the schools of iridescent fish swimming around the coral gardens. The beach is also famous for its silvery sand and offers prime sites for picnics under the shade.The Gold CoastThe Gold coast is located in Barbados and is host to some of the swankiest deluxe hotels in the world. Here is a list these public beaches: Payne's Bay, Brandon's Beach and Paradise Beach.Cane Garden BayCane Garden Bay is located at Tortola, British Virgin Islands is one of the Caribbean's famous stretches of 1 1/4 mile of white sand and has become a favorite for the joggers.Harbour IslandHarbour Island Park Beach is located in the Bahamas and is one of the worlds most photgraphed beaches and considerd one of the Caribbean best beaches. It has a 3 mile stretch of salmon color powdered sand.Crane BeachCrane beach is located in Barbados and is considered one of the Caribbean's most beautiful beaches with soft white sand that embraced by imposing cliffs and protected by a natural coral reef that makes it safe for swimming.Diamond BeachDiamond Beach is located at Matinique (French side) of the Island and is a 6 mile long beach that is gay friendly and what some say offers the Caribbean's most beautiful diving around Diamond Rock Island.Luquillo BeachLuquillo Beach is located in Puerto Rico and is a crescent shape public beach located 30 miles east of San Juan. This beach is a favorite for the locals and has gorgeous white sands and coconut palms. This makes this beach a photographers dream. The coral reefs create a crystal clear lagoon that fights off the rough waters of the Atlantic.Orient BeachOrient Beach is located in St Maarten on the French side and is famous because its one of the largest nude beaches in the world.Trunk BayTrunk Bay is located at St. John and is protected by the US National Park Service and is considered one of the most popular beaches in the Caribbean. This beach is a favorite for cruise ships and is well known for its snorkeling trail system.Grande Anse BeachGrand Anse Beach is located at Grenada, Carriacou. This beach is the perfect image of white sand with great views of the Union Island. Make sure you bring your own water and food because there are no facilities.
The best time to check out these Caribbean best beaches is from December to May has the best weather conditions but also prime time. This can be pricy. Hurricane Season runs from August thru October and the rainy season starts from May to December.
We have gone on two different occassions in October because we could not resist the cheaper prices and lucked out with the weather with just afternoon rains for a couple of hours.
