Florence, Italy is my favorite place

Of all the places I have ever visited I have to say that Florence, Italy was the most amazing. The history and atmosphere is magical and so romantic. Outside our accommodations at the Hotel Olympia was a charming Carousel that lit up the square. Near our Hotel there were street performers and cafes that were open well into the evening. We were only about 6 blocks away from Medici Square and about 8 blocks from Brunelleschi’s Dome which is worth the trip in itself. We took a day trip to Siena where we learned the root of the song “Ring around the Rosie” and visited some cathedrals. On our way back to Florence we stopped at a scenic vista that was a panoramic view of all of Florence. It was Breathtaking. Other things to make sure you see in Florence are The David, The Gates of Paradise, and the inside of Brunelleschi’s Dome. The inside of the Dome is painted with a magnificent array of angels throughout the seasons. The most interesting part is in the section that represents winter there is a hole so that when it snows it will also snow inside the dome. There are just so many interesting things in Florence I think one could stay there for a month and still need more time!
