I Love New Orleans

My favorite travel destination is New Orleans, Louisiana. The famous French Quarter boasts a variety of fun activities for an outgoing traveler. A vacationing family can enjoy an old-time ferry boat ride on the Mississippi River, or take one of the many tours the city offers such as nightly Ghost and Graveyard tours. For a brief car ride, one can also enjoy a swamp tour which includes feeding wild Alligators! Parents can take children to “Ripley’s Believe or Not” to take a look at our country’s unbelievable history and fun, freaky facts. For a more mature crowd, New Orleans offers great nightlife. The popular Bourbon St. houses countless bars, pubs, and clubs; something to please everyone. Every bar sports its’ own signature drink, like the “Hand Grenade” at Tropical Isle, which sure does the trick when a traveler is looking to get tipsy. For the non-alcoholic crowd, a vacationer can chose from a large variety of eating establishments. Chain restaurants, like the Hard Rock Café, boast a fun atmosphere with great, moderately priced, food, while unique to New Orleans restaurants allow you to sample the local food style (try the crawfish!). Whatever your reason for traveling to New Orleans, you will be sure to leave after a great experience.
