I Love Oahu, Hawaii

Why I love to travel to Oahu, Hawaii. I must say that traveling to Oahu was by far and away the best place I have ever visited. When we got off the plane and were driving to our hotel, we couldn’t help but be amazed at how lush and green everything was. Even before that we noticed that the air was so fresh and clean. We stayed at the Pilialou Recreation Center in one of their beach front cabins. A stocky block house with sliding glass doors overlooking the beach. When we would wake up in the morning, around 6, we would go for a walk on the quiet beach and see all sorts of sea life. There were dolphins, and turtles galore. Traveling the island we went to North Shore and watched the surfers do their thing on the giant waves. We checked out the turtles that come up on the beach to lay their eggs and hit up Haleiva to enjoy some shaved ice and some shrimp. The people are friendly and the views gorgeous on the island of Oahu. It is cheaper to fly their than it is to go to the Bahamas for us and it worked out just great. |
