The magic formula for winning is so misunderstood and overlooked. Thomas Edison said "Opportunity is missed by most people because it's dressed in overalls and looks like work." I have spend a lot of time studying why some people win and some people loose and have found that winners have a common mastery of the fundamentals.

Just like you, I have seen all those web sites and advertisement that promises you quick money with little effort. Save your money. Its A Scam. I promise you it does not work this way.

Here's the magic formula for winning.

1. You beat 50 percent of the people in America by working hard.

2. You beat another 40 percent by being a person of honesty and integrity

3. The last 10% is a dog fight in the free enterprise system.

There is no free lunch. Work is not fatal.

I remember playing football and running wind sprints in practice. There were times when I couldn't breathe and thought I would die. My coach told us not to worry because we would pass out before we died.

I remember when I was in 6 grade, I asked my parents if they would buy me a drum set. My parents said they did not have the money. My Dad introduces me to a paper route. That summer, I went around my paper route and got several jobs mowing lawns. Six months later, I bought my drum set and took lesson.

Two years later (8th grade) I joined a band and was booked several weekends at weddings and school dances. From 8th grade on until High School graduation I played in the band, painted houses, shingled roofs, played football, basketball and track and was an A/B student in high school.

I had saved enough money to pay for my college education.

Master the Fundamentals Some of the smartest people I know have made some of the same mistakes as some of the not-so-smart people. That mistake is not recognizing the importance of fundamentals. A lot of people are looking for a system that guarantees success. The system is not the key.

The Fundamentals:

1. Become a dreamer again.

2. Dream Big - but keep it simple.

3. Always be positive.

4. Treat people good.

5. Believe your business is a valuable service that helps people.

6. Never give up.
