Sandals at St. Lucia

My husband and I traveled to Sandal's Resort in St. Lucia for our honeymoon. We had never been to an all-inclusive resort before, so we were excited to see what it was like. It completely exeeded our expectations. We arrived to the airport and there was a shuttle to take us directly to the resort. We did not have to wait for a cab or anything. We were then ushered into an air conditioned room and given a glass of champagne to relax while we completed the check in process. The resort is kind of spread out over the hillside, so they called one of the on-sit shuttles to take us to our room. We had a king suite bungalow that overlooked the ocean and we blown away with how nice it was. We also had a balcony to sit on and enjoy the view. We spent most of our time in the main pool area at the swim-up bar, but did go to the other end for a few days to check out that pool and bar. We REALLY enjoyed dining at La Toc restaurant. We still think about the delicious bread we had there. One thing about the restaurants is you will want to make your reservastions the morning after you arrive or there may not be room for you to get in. It is first come, first served for seating, so arrive early to get the best tables. We did not go outside of the resort since we were having such a good time, but we did sign up for a catamaran booze cruise. We really liked that because you go around the island and get to enjoy a fun dinner and drinks with people from your resort. All in all we had a great time and always recommend Sandal's to anyone who wants to go on a worry free vacation.
