Sandals Royal Bahamian: Fantastic Experience

My wife and I stayed at the Sandals Royal Bahamian in May of 2009. It was fantastic experience! From the very moment the Sandal crew met us at the airport, I knew we were in for a fantastic vacation. They have a kiosk at the airport where they greeted us and carried our bags to the Sandals bus. The bus ride was very short and pleasant, and the bus driver was very knowledgeable about Bahamian history. We were taken to the very comfortable seating area in the lobby where the manager welcomed us to the resort and told us about all the fantastic activities available to us on the resort. Almost everything there was included in the room cost – so we ate and drank for free the whole time! The only things that cost money were massages and dinner at only one specific restaurant that we never visited. The staff was very friendly and constantly offered to get us anything that we wanted. The food is delicious and the menus constantly change. My favorite place to eat was the place that served pizza by the beach – it was very quick, and nothing beats the experience of eating a pizza while watching the waves slowly lap against the sandy beach! There were many water activities available and rental of the equipment (kayaks, windsurfing boards, lifejackets, etc) was quick and very easy. The ferry to the other island owned by Sandals arrived every hour, and it was great fun to see the whole island from out on the waves. The second island had a bar and restaurant so food and drinks were always easy to come by! We would absolutely love to return and would recommend any Sandals resort to any of our friends or family.
