Sandals Royal Bahamian

My wife and I stayed at the Sandals Royal Bahamian resort in Nassau for our honeymoon in 1999. Even 10 years later, it has remained in our memory as the best vacation we’ve ever taken as a couple. The accommodations were gorgeous, the staff was friendly and the entertainment was virtually limitless. Our favorite part of our trip was the fact that while staying at Sandals, we were never told “no”. So many times when you travel, you’re continually bound by the resorts rules and regulations. This means that you can’t participate in certain activities if you’ve done them before, you can’t go here, you can’t go there, etc. We never experienced this at Sandals. Do you want to go snorkeling every day of your trip? The answer is “sure”, just be sure to sign up for the tour. Do you want to go sailing on the spur of the moment? The answer from the staff is “sure”. Want three appetizers instead of one? The answer, again is “sure”. Considering that everything is included when you purchase a Sandals vacation, one might think that once you get there that the quality of the food and beverages will be substandard. This was not the case with the Royal Bahamian resort. All of the food choices were delicious, the variety of restaurants was endless. The special treats were the buffets held twice a week on the beach. These offered a variety of foods that were all expertly prepared. I highly recommend Sandals for any couple wishing to take a luxurious trip to an exotic locale. The staff is friendly, the accommodations are beautiful. The food and drink are delicious. There is a seemingly never-ending variety of activities, whether you want to engage in strenuous sports, or lazily swing in a hammock for the duration of your time at the resort - Rick, South Carolina, USA
