My future wife had to do everything in her power to get me to go to this resort since I'm not a beach lover. The idea of sitting in the sun doing nothing is not for me. After the short 20 minute ride from the airport, I was convinced with the Champaigne and tour of the facilities. We had a ground level room with a private pool and balcony. I really looked forward to the walks on the beach and chilling out by the pool. The staff was great and I really enjoyed the swim up bar. I you want a quite getaway stay on the Caribbean side and not the Mediterrainean side. Food and drinks were fine. I would do this again. I need to listen to my new wife more. Sid & Beth, New Jersey.
I thought the resort was nice but the service could have been alot better. We felt like we were bothering the bartenders asking for a drink. There may have been a new crew learning but no one when out of there way to help. We did love the views and stayed on the Mediterranean side. Patty & Jim, Maine
We decided to book this trip at Sandals Grande Antigua online to celebrate our honeymoon. We had seen a few negative reviews but decided to take advantege of the Sandals discounts. We were not dissapointed. The staff was friendly and the grounds were magnificient. The food was great and we are looking at trying another Sandals at a different location.
